Position Overview

Spirit EMS is seeking experienced and compassionate Paramedics to provide advanced life support care during emergency, non-emergency, and interfacility medical transportation. Paramedics work alongside other EMS professionals to assess patients, provide advanced clinical care, monitor changing medical conditions, and help ensure safe transport throughout the Spirit EMS service area.

Candidate Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in paramedicine or a closely related field, or equivalent education and professional training
  • Professional paramedic registration or equivalent professional background
  • Ability to obtain or maintain NREMT Paramedic certification
  • Eligibility for applicable state EMS licensure in both Ohio and Indiana
  • Demonstrated ability to perform advanced life support patient care duties
  • Clinical judgment suitable for high-acuity emergency and interfacility transport environments

Position Overview

Spirit EMS is seeking a skilled and dependable Fleet Mechanic Supervisor to help lead and maintain our growing fleet of more than 80 vehicles. This role is essential to ensuring our ambulances and support units remain safe, reliable, and ready to respond—including during after-hours situations as part of an on-call rotation.

Preferred Qualifications
  • ASE certification preferred
  • Wrecker/tow truck experience a plus
  • Supervisory or lead-tech experience a plus
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced shop
  • Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair abilities
Requirements
  • Must provide your own tools
  • Ability to perform maintenance, repairs, diagnostics, and inspections on ambulances and light- to medium-duty vehicles
  • Knowledge of safety standards and preventative maintenance best practices
  • Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and able to communicate effectively with leadership and crew members
